Saturday vs Sunday Schedule of Events
The Highland Games were to be undertaken on Saturday. However the Springfield Area Highland Games chose to book their Games over our dates 2 months ago. All the athletes are going to the more established festival instead of us. Instead of watching Highland Games, now you can try YOUR hand at them! Two professionals will guide the strong and brave through the Caber Toss and Sheaf Toss. Test your mettle and become the Highland Games!
Also try your hand at Rat Pucking! - an ancient and noble Renaissance Faire tradition similar to golf. Bring a walking staff and a 6-inch stuffed beanie animal to participate!
Sunday only, a children's flute orchestra, Miss Mary's Merry Miniatures, performs twice by Olskipan.
