Guardians of the Black Forest Living History Reenactment & Historic Village
This noble villagers proudly stand with King John against the piratical invasion. To prepare, they practice equip armor before sword fighting three times each day.
The Guardians of the Black Forest will break ground on their new home and begin an exciting and long-anticipated years' long project: a walled historical village.
Highland Games of the Quad Cities - Guided Tryouts
Instead of watching Highland Games, you can try YOUR hand at them! Two professionals will guide the strong and brave through the Caber Toss and Weight Over Bar. Test your mettle and become the Highland Games!
TWO Viking Historical Reenactment Encampments to visit
Visit Skjaldborg to see epic battles unfold or Olskipan for exciting kid's activities.
Skjaldborg will enact historically accurate battle tactics three times a day by the wooded Skunk River.
Olskipan has spear throwing, necklace making, and historically accurate cooking techniques to show.
